She reaches for the leash and attaches it to my collar.

“Hold up, I smell an intruder lingering on this fire hydrant.”

Barely enough time to leave my calling card, and then we’re off.

Rounding the corner I see the door.

Up the stairs and reunited with my best friends Mr. Water and Mr. Food.
