Songs by Carey Printer Friendly

Have you ever heard a song and really listened to the lyrics and thought that's me? It seems like I come across a song like that from time to time and then it just sticks to me. Like some permeable glue that no matter what you use to take it off you just can't rid yourself of it.

My latest song is by a singer called Sia. Perhaps it has something to do with my Six Feet Under series addiction and it is the song played during the final segments of the series finale, or maybe I just relate to it in a rather unhealthy manner (who knows).

But, for those of you who may be unfamiliar with it I will recite the lyrics for you because I think they are very poetic in their own right.

Breathe Me by Sia

Help, I have done it again.

I have been here many times before.

Hurt myself again today,

And the worst part is there's noone else to blame.

Be my friend.

Hold me.

Wrap me up, Unfold me.

I am small.

I need you.

Warm me up, and Breathe me.

Ouch, I have lost myself again.

Lost myself and I am nowhere to be found.

Yet, I think that I might break.

Lost myself again and I feel unsafe.

Be my friend.

Hold me.

Wrap me up, Unfold me.

I am small.

I need you.

Warm me up, and Breathe me

And there it be in a nutshell folks. Of course, I am doing the song an injustice by just typing out the lyrics. You really need to go to www.allofmp3.com and download it to get the full feeling. I should probably go to bed now and get some sleep. Just wanted to add a lil something to the site tonight.

Sweet dreams :)
