What to say? by Trey Printer Friendly

What to say?

Our hearts and minds are with you London?

Our hopes and prayers are yours?

All are true, none can take the pain away.

I would like to say that dark days are truly here, but will be gone soon. Only, I do not know.

I would like to think that hate never succedes and goodness and decency always prevail. But I cannot see so far.

All I have is a hope for better days. For a place in the sun. For a world that finally knows peace. For a time when brutal dictators and murdered children are become a whispered tale of darker days.

God willing, we will see together...

"Let that bomb when it comes find us doing sensible and human things--praying, working, teaching, listening to music, bathing the children , playing tennis, chatting to our friends over a pint and a game of darts--not huddled together like frightened sheep and thinking about bombs. They may break our bodies... but they need not dominate our minds."

C. S. Lewis
