Comment Captchas by Trey Printer Friendly

Ray was complaining about comment spam again.

In an effort to finally put an end to this stuff, I've added 'Captchas'.

Basically, when you enter a comment you will have to type in two words from a little picture. You've seen these all over the web.

As an added bonus, the comment page now allows for proofreading.

If you are wondering why you must enter two words instead of just one (like most Captchas), it's because I am using the free 'reCaptcha' application. Each time you verify security, you are helping to digitally encode a book. If you're geeky like me, you can read more about it at their website. It's cool.

That computer nerd told me I was likely to be eaten by a grue. I\'ve got to stop with the bacon-scented cologne.

Is it my imagination, or are we having some trouble with apostrophes around this joint?

It isn\'t that I wouldn\'t, \'tis more like she\'s watching, so I shouldn\'t.

Nope, not my imagination.

It is caused by something with the adding of the captchas. Trey explained it to me, and I made sounds like I understood, but I think we all know better. Because he will be busy for the foreseeable future, we might have to deal with it for a while.
